Audition

Amuse holds auditions throughout the year and is always happy to hear from interested singers. Singers who would like to audition for the ensemble should have choral singing experience with good sight-reading skills, a high degree of self-motivation, together with the willingness and time to have the music prepared before the first rehearsal.

In lieu of regular weekly rehearsals, the Amuse Singers rehearse twice a week over a 4-5 week period prior to each concert. Music is distributed to singers in the month preceding rehearsals, and singers are expected to independently learn their parts before rehearsals start.
