Human/Nature
Please join us for our spring performance—Human/Nature. This program reflects on the dialogue between human impacts on the earth and nature’s response, which despite all odds, always allows for hope.
The centerpiece of the program is Don MacDonald’s Fire Flowers, a 7-movement song cycle that sets the work of Emily Pauline Johnson, or Tekahionwake, Canadian poet of the Mohawk Nation. Alongside the MacDonald, we’ll feature works by Amy Beach, Johannes Brahms, Theodore Morrison, and Alberto Grau.
Join us on May 10 at 1 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door (cash and venmo accepted).
